These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of KidznLife (the “Service”), available at kidznlife.com. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
KidznLife (“KidznLife”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates kidznlife.com from the United Mexican States. You can contact us at hello@kidznlife.com for general matters, privacy@kidznlife.com for privacy matters, and legal@kidznlife.com for legal or takedown matters.
You are responsible for:
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe it has been compromised, used in violation of these Terms, or used in a way that creates risk for KidznLife or other users.
KidznLife aggregates, displays, and enables community contributions about places, events, blog content, advisor content, and similar family-oriented information. We are an informational platform. We do not own, operate, inspect, certify, or endorse the places, events, or activities listed on the Service. Presence on the Service does not imply that a place is safe, suitable, licensed, or kid-friendly. Ratings, tags, labels, and descriptions reflect community input and automated processes; they may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date.
You are solely responsible for the decisions you make based on information found on the Service, including decisions that affect your children. Before visiting a place or participating in an event, verify its current status, opening hours, safety measures, and suitability directly with the operator. KidznLife does not replace your judgment as a parent or guardian.
“User Content” means anything you submit to the Service: text, photos, videos, reviews, ratings, flags, comments, blog drafts, suggestions, and support messages.
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant KidznLife a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting, cropping, moderation, and accessibility), adapt, translate, publish, publicly display, publicly perform, and distribute your User Content in connection with the Service and KidznLife’s promotional activities on any media. This license continues for as long as we are contractually or technically required to retain the content and survives for back-up copies; it ends when the content is removed from active systems, except for residual rights in anonymised or aggregated derivatives.
By submitting User Content you represent and warrant that:
You must not submit content that:
We may, in our sole discretion and without prior notice, review, reject, modify, blur, pixelate, restrict, suspend, or remove any User Content or account that we consider to violate these Terms or applicable law, or that we consider unsafe for a family audience. We are under no obligation to monitor content, and we make no commitment regarding the timeliness or thoroughness of moderation.
When interacting on the Service, you agree to:
If you believe User Content violates your rights (including copyright, trademark, privacy, or image rights) or these Terms, contact us at legal@kidznlife.com with:
We will review and act on legitimate requests without undue delay. We may also notify the user who submitted the content.
Other than User Content, all content on the Service — including software, design, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and the “KidznLife” name — is owned by KidznLife or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
The core Service is currently free for end users. We may introduce paid features (for example, premium listings for businesses). If we do, we will present the terms and price clearly before you commit.
The Service may include place data from Google Maps; videos from YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok; and links to third-party websites. Such third-party content is provided “as is” and is governed by the terms of its respective provider. We do not control or endorse it.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or error-free, or that place information is accurate, complete, or current.
We are not responsible for what happens when you visit a place, attend an event, or otherwise act on information from the Service. You are responsible for exercising good judgment, supervising any children in your care, and verifying suitability and safety for yourself and your family.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; in those jurisdictions, the exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
These limitations apply whether the claim is based on contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KidznLife and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with (a) your User Content; (b) your use of the Service; (c) your breach of these Terms or any applicable law; or (d) your violation of any right of a third party, including minors you depict.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, exposed KidznLife or other users to legal risk, or engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or unsafe behaviour. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing privacy@kidznlife.com. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 5.1, 8, 11–15, and 17 — will survive.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; when changes are material, we will notify you by reasonable means (banner, email, or in-app notice). The “Effective date” above reflects the current version. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics, war, civil unrest, government action, labor disputes, internet or utility outages, or failures of third-party services.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
For any dispute, controversy, or claim, you and KidznLife submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mexico City (Ciudad de México), Mexico, and expressly waive any other jurisdiction that may correspond to you by reason of your present or future domicile. This is without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your place of residence.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations under them without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction.
These Terms (together with the Privacy Notice and any additional policies referenced) constitute the entire agreement between you and KidznLife regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
